Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling Nothing to report Burglary Other At 12.43pm on Sunday 9 November in Mansfield Road, Underwood a report of three males around 18 years old, breaking into the boarded up Dog and Quayle public house. One threw a hammer up to a second, who was already on the balcony. They gained access to the building. Two males were detained by the police. Theft of motor vehicle Between 11.00pm on Friday 7 and 10.00am on Saturday 8 November in Oak Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, a black Renault Clio was stolen. Theft from motor vehicle Around 3.25am on Friday 7 November at Grange Court, Kirkby in Ashfield, the windscreen of a black and white Ford Mondeo was smashed to gain entry and a mobile phone was stolen. At 3.28am on Friday 7 November in Milton Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, a report of two males, late teens, both wearing dark hoodies and one with white trainers, trying car doors down the road and entering at least three cars. Theft Nothing to Report Criminal Damage At some time between Tuesday 4 November and 11.00am on Saturday 8 November in Burton Rise, Kirkby in Ashfield, a Volkswagen Polo car, usually parked on the driveway, had the paintwork on the rear passenger side “Keyed”. At 2.00pm on Thursday 6 November at Hallams Farm, Blidworth Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, a report of six motorbikes being ridden over fields of wheat and barley crops. They headed off into Normanshill Woods. Between Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 November in Sycamore Avenue, Kirkby in Ashfield, a brick wall was damaged and the bricks left on the garden. At 10.21am on Tuesday 11 November in Priory Avenue, Kirkby in Ashfield, a report of small lumps of concrete being thrown at a greenhouse shattering two panes of glass. ASB At sometime on Monday 10 November in Main Road, Jacksdale, a report of a white Ford Transit Tipper van fly tipping next to the Seven Trent Water storm overflow cabinet. At 5.00pm on Wednesday 12 November in Hodgkinson Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, a report of five males with three bikes and a scooter, threatening to damage cars in the Leisure Centre car park and shouting abuse at customers.
